You’re looking at SoCalRedCross volunteers who helped prepare communities impacted by Tropical Storm Hilary’s path over the weekend.

These Red Crossers prepositioned relief supplies ahead of the storm and set up shelters across the region to ensure people who need to evacuate had a safe place to stay, food, water and other support.

As more threats for flood watches and warnings continue to impact several areas like Southern California and Nevada, here are some tips to follow to stay safe:

➡️ Never walk, swim or drive through floodwaters
➡️ Keep valuables and important documents high off the floor
➡️ Stay off bridges over fast-moving water
➡️ Download the Red Cross Emergency app for weather alerts
