Many people have been forced from their homes in the Northeast due to catastrophic flooding, and although floodwaters have receded in some areas, the threat of more storms and flooding continues.

If you’re able to travel back home, keep these safety tips in mind:

🚗 Don't drive or walk through flooded roads
⚠️ Be aware of downed power lines outside your home
🧒🏿🐶 Keep children and pets away from floodwaters
🏃🏾‍♀️ Be prepared to evacuate quickly if floodwaters return
