another trail ride in the books this weekend kimesranchjeans

If you are new around here, HI, I am newer to the horse riding industry and have been s l o w l y building up my courage and confidence with being around and on top of horses. It’s been a wonderful learning curve and a new hobby we’ve been trying to embrace this year. This is our 4th or 5th trail ride of the summer and probably one of my favorites to date! I thought the trail was moderate, not too hard, just perfect. The views were 10/10 and while we didn’t make it all the way to the lake, we did about 7.5 miles which was perfect for our old boys!

I found these old chaps at vintage market days and they fit me about as perfect as a vintage pair could!
I’m wearing the distressed Jennifer’s, with a tech long sleeve and cap, all from kimesranchjeans (I’ll link items in my stories)

Carson, my husband, grew up with horses and riding them when he went hunting with his dad as a boy! He has been the best teacher and supporter when it comes to me learning to ride. I’m very grateful for him. Learning new things when you get older is soo intimidating, and in a world full of information and how to’s, he keeps it simple and just encourages me to keep doing my best.

So to anyone who is learning to do something new, way to go !! 🩷 I can’t tell you the right or wrong way, but I can just help encourage you to keep at it. 🩷 Doing new things is hard, humiliating and intimidating, so I’m proud that you are out here doing the dang thing!!
