Set the pulp aside. In a food processor, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, rinsed capers, and the reserved tomato pulp. Blend until you get a thick, smooth cream. Taste and add salt only if needed — the capers already add a lot of saltiness. Fill the hollowed tomatoes with the tuna cream and top each with a fresh basil leaf.
