Perfect for hot days and lemon lovers! 🍋☀️ Tag someone who needs a sweet slice of sunshine! 💛 @nonnasilviofficial ✍️ Ingredients: 5 ½ cups ladyfingers (savoiardi) (600 g) 3 cups mascarpone (750 g) 8 medium eggs 1 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for the cream) (225 g) 6 tablespoons granulated sugar (for the syrup) (75 g) ¾ cup limoncello (180 ml) 1 ¾ cups water (450 ml) Juice of 1 ½ lemons Zest of 1 ½ organic lemons 👩‍🍳 Instructions: 1. Prepare the syrup: In a small saucepan, heat the water with 6 tablespoons sugar (75 g) until dissolved. Remove from heat, let cool, then add the ¾ cup limoncello (180 ml) and the juice of 1 ½ lemons (strained). 2. Make the cream: Separate the egg yolks and whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, whisk the yolks with 1 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar (225 g) and the lemon zest until light and fluffy. Add the mascarpone and mix until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites. 3. Assemble the tiramisu: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the limoncello syrup. Place a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a dish. Spread a layer of cream over them. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (ideally overnight). 4. Decorate and serve: Before serving, sprinkle with extra lemon zest or powdered sugar.
