Spicy, creamy, crispy perfection! 🔥🧀 These Italian-style chicken wings bring the heat with ‘nduja and cool it down with a silky Parmigiano cream dip. Who’s ready to wing it? 🍗🇮🇹 @flavorsbyalessandra For the Wings: 1.5 lbs chicken wings (drumettes & flats, patted dry) 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 teaspoons kosher salt Neutral oil spray (for air fryer) Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish) For the ‘Nduja Glaze: 3 tablespoons ‘nduja (about 45 g) 1½ tablespoons honey (about 30 g) 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar or lemon juice (about 5 ml) 1 large or 2 small garlic cloves, finely grated or minced Optional: 1–2 teaspoons water (5–10 ml), to thin if needed For the Parmesan Cream Dip: ⅓ cup heavy cream (about 80 ml) ½ to ¾ cup finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano (about 50–75 g) 🧑‍🍳 Instructions: 1. Prep the Wings In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with baking powder and salt until evenly coated. Lightly spray your air fryer basket with oil and preheat it to 400°F (200°C). Arrange wings in a single layer (a little overlap is fine). Cook for 22–26 minutes, flipping or shaking the basket halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown. 2. Make the ‘Nduja Glaze In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the ‘nduja for 2–3 minutes. Add honey, vinegar (or lemon juice), and garlic. Stir gently for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is melted and glossy. If it’s too thick, add 1–2 teaspoons of water or extra vinegar to thin it out until pourable but still clingy. Adjust to taste. 3. Make the Parmesan Cream Dip In another small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the cream until steaming (do not let it boil). Whisk in the grated Parmigiano gradually until smooth and fully melted. Add cracked black pepper to taste. Keep warm — it will thicken slightly as it sits. 4. Finish & Serve Toss the hot wings in the warm ‘nduja glaze or spoon it over the top. Drizzle with the warm Parmesan cream and serve extra on the side for dipping. Garnish with chopped chives and enjoy! #giallozafferano #giallozafferanolovesitaly #chicken #Nduja #Parmigiano #AirFryer
