48 HOURS IN FORT WORTH 💖

Sometimes you gotta take a low maintenance vacation an hour away from your city and play tourist! My favorite spot to get away but still go home I case I forgot my hair curler is Fort Worth! It’s full of culture, fun, and delicious food so let’s take a look into my 48 hours! 

First thing I did was check into Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown, their suite was absolutely immaculate. The hotel was very recently renovated so everything was clean, new, and modern. My main reason on staying here was the location, I looked out my window and downtown Fort Worth was right there. Every spot I have in this list was less than 15 minutes away which was incredible.

I always stay in the first night so I went to West and Stone for dinner. This is the hotel’s on site restaurant and it was great because I was still able to have a nice elevated upscale experience in the dining room without having to leave my hotel. For a more casual experience there was a bunch of guys at the bar watching play off baseball, so best of both worlds! 

The next day I went to the Stockyards, this is a must do in Fort Worth! They do the cattle drive twice daily and it’s free! Another free thing to do is to go to Sundance Square to see the big rhinestone cowboy hat and they have a bunch of fun shops. Then I went to the Kimbell Museum which is free to visit but I did their Afternoon Tea for $35 for two!

I went back to the hotel for a break and since it was coffee week they had free coffee in the lobby! Once it was dark I went to Coyote Drive in to see a scary movie since it’s October, spoooookyyyyyy 

The morning of checkout I went to the Sheraton Club Lounge which is for suite guests and Marriott Members, there’s free coffee, snacks and breakfast! I highly recommend checking out the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown if you stay in the area. The hotel itself, amenities, and location is unbeatable!
