PRETTIEST WINERY IN TEXAS 🍷

If you’ve never been to Augusta Vin then you’re missing out on what has to be one of the prettiest wineries the Texas Hill Country had to offer. ✨

I had the pleasure of going right before harvest so all of the grape vines were full and lush! I did The Grand Tour which takes you around the vineyards on a golf course where I was able to hop off and even try the grapes! This is a must if you want the full immersive experience! 🍇

You’re taken all around the grounds and production facility on the golf cart where your expert Sommelier will explain the whole process from grape to wine! And of course you’re trying some along the way 🏭

Near the end of the tour, you’ll actually get 5 food and wine tastings! This was one of my favorite things I’ve done in Fredericksburg ever! Here’s what I had:

🧇Waffle w/ Crème Fraiche and Caviar paired with 2022 Malvasia Bianca
🥗Citrus Salad paired with 2023 Ver Tempore - Spring Rosé
🥪Monte Cristo paired with 2021 Petite Sirah Estate
🥩Roast Beef on a Crostini paired with 2021 Tempranillo
🍫House Made Dark Chocolate Truffles paired with 2021 Tannat Estate

Three wine barrel tastings is also included which we were able to pour ourselves! One of the coolest things I’ve ever done 🛢️

To sweeten the deal for a Grand Tour, we got to take home some beautiful etched glasses! I ended the day at the winery by getting a full glass of my favorite, ordering a charcuterie board, and sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful vineyard.

If you’re in Fredericksburg and looking just to do a tasting, they JUST opened their new non-member tasting room so you’re in luck! 🍀
