Super transparent post about what I’ve been dealing with on the backend. 

I always “knew” that there would ultimately be consequences to using an over the counter hydrocortisone cream to treat my facial eczema, but never in a million years think it would be like this. 

Extremely blessed that my case is considered mild. 

Some signs that helped me realize it was tsw after stopping hydrocortisone use were: 

-increase sensitivity in skin
-intense peeling stage 
-facial reddness and burning similar to sunburn around eyes/nose/mouth 

Things that have helped me: 

-eczema safe oat cleansers 
-facial oils to help rebuild the skin 
-barrier repair serums
-lipid filled moisturizers 
-zinc oxide
