## Caption

This week’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on book bans wasn’t your typical day in Congress — but just because content is sexual in nature doesn’t mean it is not protected by the First Amendment. School libraries are public libraries, and the protections of the First Amendment don’t stop at the schoolhouse door. #congress #bannedbooks #ireadbannedbooks #freespeech #1a
