On Friday, September 8 we argued before the Florida Supreme Court urging them to respect the state constitution and the will of the voters by striking down the state's 15-week abortion ban. The 15-week ban has been in effect with devastating impacts on people's lives for more than a year. The state has asked the court to wipe out any constitutional protection for abortion in Florida, clearing the way for the state to enforce Gov. DeSantis’ ban on abortion at six weeks of pregnancy, a time when many people don’t even know they are pregnant.
