## Caption

Growing basil on aeroponic towers starts by soaking agricultural rock wool in water for about 20 minutes. Fresh rock wool tends to have a naturally high pH, so soaking it helps stabilize the substrate and create better conditions for seed germination. After sowing the seeds, we add a light layer of vermiculite on top. This naturally occurring mineral has an excellent air-to-water ratio, helping improve germination rates while protecting the seeds during those critical early days. Strong crops always start with strong seedlings. Getting this stage right makes a huge difference in plant health, growth speed, and overall yield. #basil #farming #agriculture #gardening #seedlings
