I've not been completely honest about a certain someone. 

I brag about how perfect he is and how life with him couldn't get any better. The truth is I've let him walk all over me. He acts entitled to everything I own. I've made excuses for him and his behavior. 

For years I have tried to get him to listen to me but he still he doesn't seem to care. I work hard to make sure his life is great. I prepare his food. I do his laundry. I wash his dishes and I do it all without making a single complaint. 

I go above and beyond to make sure he's happy. Yet sometimes he won't even look me in the eyes. There are days where I wonder if he loves me at all and then there are days where I can feel how much he loves me.

I say all of this to let you know that what you see is not always what you get. So before you decide to start a relationship with cat, dog or any pet just know this, it won't always be easy but it will always be worth it. 💜
