Dear Aly-oop, Babette, Ms. America, Mop head, Princess, AKA Alyshia Faith ❤️

I'm sorry I didn't keep my promises. I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry that you'll never know what it's like to go to college, travel while you're younger, have a normal 20 something experience. I'm sorry I messed everything up for you. You were brave, smart, shy, kind and strong. So strong at times I had to work hard to bury your pain when it surfaced. I worked hard to stay numb. Feeling your pain would mean I'd have to admit that I hurt you and that wasn't an option. Today it's not only an option, it is my top priority. I sincerely apologize for all the hurt and pain I've caused you. I promise to spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud. If I could change the way things played out I would. If I could go back and whisper in your ear to warn you I would. None of that is possible but I can honor you by trying to help others to not make the same mistakes that I did. I vow today to help as many young women and men who are struggling and or self medicating to stop numbing themselves and to start the process of healing. ❤️
