From building a team from scratch to the WNBA Finals. In just two seasons. 🏀

Pretty incredible what Jess Smith and the Golden State Valkyries have built. And with the Finals tipping off this weekend, the timing couldn't be better for episode 2 of FaceTime 5. 📱

Jess previously helped build Angel City Football Club and is now leading one of the most exciting new franchises in sports.

We talked about:
→ What she did differently building a team the second time around
→ What she bet on that others underestimated
→ Where women's sports rewrites the playbook
→ And whether coming up with an ambitious idea or bringing it to life is harder

A big thanks to Kate Hussmann for nominating Jess as our next guest, and to Jess for keeping the chain going.

Up next: Mike Kitts of Elevate...get ready for a call!

Good luck to Jess and the entire Valkyries organization in the Finals this weekend!
