@valisurerx tested many OTC sunscreens and found some contain a contaminant called benzene which is toxic. Check the list to see if your sunscreen is included. If it is I’d recommend choosing an alternate sunscreen. Most of the ones that contained the contaminant were sprays and gels. Stay tuned for updates and more data to come as we learn more about the situation.

It is still important to wear sunscreen and protect yourself from the sun as we know without a doubt that does increase your risk for skin cancer.
