#Democratic presidential candidates were in #Iowa Friday night speaking to a crowd of 13,000 people at the Liberty and Justice Celebration, the state Democratic Party's main fundraising dinner.⠀
⠀
Sound Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg gave the night’s first speech pitching himself as the most electable. Buttigieg has one of the most robust campaigns in Iowa.⠀
⠀
Meanwhile, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has been rising in the state’s polls. She unveiled her $20.5 trillion “Medicare for All” plan earlier in the day and took shots criticizing her moderate competitors as being afraid to fight for changes she says would improve people’s lives.⠀
⠀
Former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke dropped out of the race just before the event started.⠀
