We are so so lucky to have Tayllor @sisterhoodverb on board to bring all things #spokenword to your feed in 2022 and encourage y’all to dip into this empowering artform! 🎤 💪

On top of being a Poetry judge, she selects spoken word submissions for the Voice of the Sea Award in our annual Ocean Awareness Contest, so her tips might just help you win $1,000/$1,500! 😏

The 2022 Contest theme, “The Funny Thing About Climate Change,” challenges middle and high schoolers ages 11-18 to communicate about the climate crisis and its impact on our ocean in fresh ways.

Leading up to the June 13th, 2022 Contest deadline, Tayllor will be a guide for how to respond to the theme with performance poetry, whether you’re a newbie or want to finesse your skills, so keep your eyes peeled for more content from her on our page! 👀
