Only a year or so ago, we had a dream: what if we created a space for our alums (students that have participated in any of our programs, like the Ocean Awareness Contest; Healthy Whale, Healthy Ocean Challenge; Marine Debris Creative Advocacy Competition; etc.) to get together and build on our mission of youth creative advocacy for our ocean?

With the help of Bow Seat alumna Akhila Bandlora, the @future.blue.youth.council was born! 🤗

As @_its.sekaiii_ points out, over time, the Council has become more than just an environmental leadership group. It’s become a family 💙

If you’re 16-21 and are a Bow Seat alum, we hope you’ll apply for our 2022 Future Blue Youth Council!
