#DYK that in the last half a century, oceanic sharks and rays have decreased by 71% because of an 18-fold increase in fishing? 🆘🦈 We need our sharks and rays as much as we need any other ocean critter to keep our marine ecosystems in balance, and it’s up to us to push for measures that prevent overfishing and incentivize sustainable alternatives 🌊
