The gorgeous colors! The bold shapes! The strength expressed in this piece! A Silver Award Winner in Senior Art in our 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest, "Earth Collaption" by Jada Mensah jadadoodles (15, Massachusetts) brings our attention to the consequences of #climatechange 🌡️🌎 and greenhouse gases 🏭, such as melting glaciers, drought, rising sea levels, and air pollution, while still calling us to action 🌊 ✊

As she put it, "It’s not all doom and gloom! That’s why the Earth figure is holding up a golden circle—to show the viewers the greener future we could have if we helped out and started changing the way we live for the better." 💙
