On #EndangeredSpeciesDay, we grieve, honor, and celebrate the more-than-human species we share this blue planet with, including the North Atlantic right whale. Only 400 of these beautiful creatures survive today, and human activities remain their greatest threat.
.
Last year, we partnered with ConservationLawFoundation to increase visibility of the plight of the endangered right whale and provide opportunities for local youth and their families to take action and speak up about this issue.
.
Our Healthy Whale, Healthy Ocean Challenge leveraged the power of the arts, creative media, and storytelling to promote intergenerational conversation and engagement in ocean conservation action, and inspired public support for research and science-based regulations that protect our coastal ecosystems and our whales.
