It has been a big weekend for our blue planet! Following Friday's #GlobalClimateStrike was Saturday's #internationalcoastalcleanupday!
.
We are inspired by all of the participants in our Marine Debris Creative Advocacy Competition over the years, all of whom designed and led impact campaigns to reduce and/or prevent marine debris in their community.
.
Featured here is one of our 2018 Winners: ECO Club SoLA, from Pensacola School of Liberal Arts in Florida, who used something unpleasant—plastic pollution—to create beautiful sculptures of animals that brought to light a serious problem facing their coastal community and marine life.
