"At this point, it’s safe to say that we owe the big blue, but most importantly ourselves, a little honesty...Unlike landfills, the ocean remains within sight and within mind. This is 'the realization of our own weight' commanding: Take inventory. Breathe. We’re all in the same boat." Bow Seat Poet, Angela S. (Age 16, Arizona)
.
Last year Angela entered her poem, "Colossus, Landed" into our Ocean Awareness Contest, and she won a Bronze Award in our Senior division!
.
Join the movement, and enter your poem in the 2019 Ocean Awareness Contest. Deadline June 17th at 11:59 pm, Eastern Time! Link in our bio!
