"Climate change has significantly impacted the habitats found along Florida’s coastline; specifically, mangrove and cypress swamps. As I progressed more into my investigation [of this issue], I came to realize that my main objective for this project was to demonstrate how climate change is common and rampant even at a local level. With this in mind, I aimed to create awareness and to compel others within my local community to care about issues regarding climate change and the environment." #FridaysForFuture
