Join us TOMORROW at the #RightWhale Festival at newenglandaquarium! Meet youth activists and local organizations working to protect right whales, participate in a whale-themed community art project, and view an exhibition of student artwork from our Healthy Whale, Healthy Ocean Challenge, presented with conservationlawfoundation, like this piece by Kaitlyn X. (Age 8, Massachusetts).
.
"The North Atlantic Right Whale That Lived Many Times" won the Silver Award for K-3 visual art, and depicts the history of threats faced by right whales: "I created a right whale who had present and past lives. He died many times, and lived many times... How he wished for a peaceful life in a clean sunshine ocean without interruption by human beings!"
