Lizzo is bringing her love for the flute to a new generation. 🪈📚

The 4-time Grammy Award winner recently released her children’s book, Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin’, loosely inspired by her own journey of discovering the flute as a child.

On Tuesday, Lizzo stopped by Uncommon Kings Elementary School in Brooklyn to read the book to students and share a little bit of her story.

Long before becoming a global superstar, Lizzo learned to play the flute in elementary school and was on track to become an orchestral flutist before pursuing her dreams in the music industry.
