Uganda's Halimah Nakaayi pulled off an upset victory in the women's 800m, thus far the biggest surprise of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019. Her time of 1:58.04 set a new national record for Uganda, who had never had a World Championships finalist in the women's 800m.
