On #InternationalWomensDay, we're honoring our incredible Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer, cassandracurtis 👑

9 years ago, Cassandra started creating baby food recipes in her kitchen, in an effort to provide better, more nutritious, tastier options for her infant daughter than what was commercially available at the time.

Her desire to do better for her baby changed the entire baby food industry. She introduced the concept of HPP (high-pressure processing) to baby food, set new standards for nutrition and quality, and took the initiative to go above and beyond to test for safety—including becoming the first baby food brand to partner with cleanlabelproject (testing for 400+ contaminants, such as heavy metals and pesticides).

She may have started with baby food, but Cassandra has always known how much more of an impact she could make through this company. We've since expanded into snacks and meals that toddlers, kids, and even adults love—with lots more up our sleeves. And following Cassandra's lead, we're making an impact in other ways, too, as a PBC and B Corp, with a mission to nurture our children, our planet, and each other.

Cassandra is truly the reason our team is excited to come to work every day. She's created products and a brand that we can all get behind. And she deserves to be celebrated—today and every day. 👏
