Notre Dame basketball has a new backcourt partnership, and Braeden Shrewsberry and Braeden Smith are already building serious chemistry.

On this episode of That's A W, host Vince Wolfram heads to South Bend for an exclusive conversation with Notre Dame guards Braeden Shrewsberry and Braeden Smith about their growing connection, the upcoming 2026–27 college basketball season, life under head coach Micah Shrewsberry, and what it takes to compete in the ACC.

Smith, a former Patriot League Player of the Year who arrives at Notre Dame after playing at Colgate and Gonzaga, explains why South Bend was the right destination and what he's bringing to the Fighting Irish offense.

Meanwhile, Shrewsberry discusses his offseason transformation, his evolution as a shooter, and the expectations that come with playing for his father. Smith even reveals that Shrewsberry has been shooting approximately 60% from three in practice!

The conversation also goes beyond basketball strategy, featuring a hilarious story about assistant coach Tony Rack accidentally calling 911 through his Apple Watch, a blind ranking of classic Notre Dame basketball uniforms, and a fantasy basketball draft featuring Notre Dame football legends.
