Happy Hump Day ...

I feel like this has come round so fast! I suppose we really shouldn’t be wishing our life away but I’m on countdown to the weekend again now 😳
We’re looking forward to getting our new garden furniture out to see how it looks on the new decking.

Here’s a bit of the garden transformation... we was kindly given a hill in the garden that sloped down to the garage making it rather damp. It was a real waste of space as it was too steep to do anything with. We decided to deck the area and it’s made a huge difference... I know lots of you will have seen this already in my stories. Still some more bits to do but thought I’d show you so far what we’ve done.

The space is 26sqm that we can now use so we’re really pleased. When we bought the house we made sure the garden was south facing and we wasn’t overlooked from behind however we underestimated how close the street to the side is and feel it’s really overlooked so our next mission is to find some mature trees that don’t cost an arm and a leg to give us some privacy. I’ve been looking at evergreen too like pleached red robins or hornbeam and maybe Laurel... it may end up being a climbing plant or bamboo in another raised bed. Any suggestions? #garden #gardenprivacy #gardendesign #gardening #gardeninspiration #gardensofinstagram #gardeninspo #gardeninglife #newbuildgarden #newbuildgardens #newbuildhouse #newbuilds #outdoors #outdoor #beforeandafter #homeinspo #homeaccount #design #designinspiration #outdoorspace #decking #patio #plants #fencing #steps #bifold #grass #plantsplantsplants #plantstagram
