🗽Lessons from a week in New York 🗽

1. Break bread with people. 🥯🥯🥯

Everyone needs to eat so if you can combine a get to know you meeting with food or drinks you can never go wrong. The countries that have the best relationships are always the ones who have a love of food where lunch is not a quick bite to eat but a beautiful appreciation of dinner and good conversation. Think Mediterranean & Middle Eastern. Big bonds over big food. Carve out at least one monthly lunch & dinner date for your business and go develop 24 new meaningful relationships for yourself over the year.

2. Breathe the same air from time to time. 🫁

There's a reason why corporate execs travel across the world to meet colleagues in person....and that is because relationships accelerate faster in person. Emails/ zoom calls/ slack/ messages will only develop a working relationship so much. Humans need to be with other humans. So peek out from behind all your tools and apps and make the switch from 2D to 3D humans.
