“I actually had a very rough pregnancy. I was diagnosed with hypertension, then preeclampsia on top of that, they had also found that my placenta had a tear in it. We were going to the doctor twice a week watching Magnolia to make sure she was okay.

Thursday July 2nd, after a bad blood pressure report & little movement from Magnolia, we were sent in for monitoring at the hospital. After two days there, my BP staying steady and having good movement from Magnolia, the doctors felt it would be best we have schedule my delivery to have her the following  Saturday. But sweet Mangolia had other plans!

Her heart rate kept dropping while we were still a the hospital, and our doctor told us we would need to deliver in the next 24/36 hours. I called my mom who is a state away (2 & 1/2 hours) so she left work and started heading our way. They moved us into a suite, & we were waiting to see what Magnolia was going to do. Around 2:30, the doctor came back and told us we would be delivering Magnolia around 4-5pm that afternoon. My husband and I were both terrified, shocked, excited all of the above!

Our sweet Magnolia made her entrance into the world July 6th, at 4:47pm, weighing 3lb 10oz. 8 whole weeks early! Fast forward to now, Magnolia is now two weeks old & she’s been kicking butt in the NICU and we’re looking to bring her home within the next two weeks ! 💜 Magnolia’s FAVORITE thing is her paci, from Day one til this day!”
