Grand Cayman, Part 2

After an incredible start to our Grand Cayman adventure, Part Two was all about Seven Oysters team time and getting to know two very different properties: Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman and Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa.

Splitting our stay between the two was invaluable. Both are fantastic hotels, but they offer very different experiences, and seeing them firsthand helps us understand which property is the right fit for which client.

We were incredibly grateful to our host, Sanam Yazdani, who was so generous with her time and hospitality, especially knowing we were taking over part of her weekend. Sanam and the teams at both hotels went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. 💙
And there was plenty of fun mixed in with our “research.”

We snorkeled at night through the glowing waters of Bioluminescent Bay ✨, spent quality time in beach cabanas, tested our stand-up paddle boarding skills, and became very familiar with Grand Cayman’s unofficial welcoming committee: the chickens. 🐓 They are everywhere, and somehow they became one of our favorite parts of the island.

There was also the very serious business of determining who makes Grand Cayman’s best piña colada. After extensive research, we have yet to reach a consensus. Further investigation may be required. 🍹

Hotel Indigo’s Pom Pom rooftop bar was another favorite, with great cocktails, views and a fun atmosphere. And then there was breakfast at Seafire...or perhaps we should call it brunch. Made-to-order omelets, incredible pastries, endless choices and never-ending champagne. 🥂

But once again, the best part was simply being together. We explored, laughed, learned a ton and came home with an even better understanding of Grand Cayman and the experiences we can create for our clients.

A huge thank you to Sanam and the Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman and Kimpton Seafire teams for your generosity, hospitality and time. We loved experiencing both of these special properties.
Grand Cayman, you definitely haven’t seen the last of us. 🌴💙
