## Caption

Six months ago, I made the most reckless and beautiful decision of my life. After eleven long years, I walked out on my corporate job with nothing but a vague dream—to buy a sailboat and sail around the world. I quit without a plan, without a clue, and, frankly, without knowing the first thing about sailing. I liquidated my 401k, paid cash for a boat, and a month later, with no idea what I was doing, I took it out for the first time—figuring it out as I went, mistake by mistake, mile by mile. Now, here I am, six months later, on a different boat off the coast of Portugal, not my own, but a rental I managed to find while visiting family. And for the first time in my life, I understand what it means to have a calling. There’s nothing else I want to do, nothing else I can do. I’m drawn to the open water in a way that feels irrational, intense—an obsession that’s as unhealthy as it is undeniable. . . . . . . . . . . #sailing #sailinglife #fyp #boatlife #dream #sailingaroundtheworld #quityourjob #CapCut
