.
Someone asked me, “Who are you waiting for?”... 😳 I was surprised that I didn’t quite know how to answer at first, but after a brief moment it became clear.
.
I’m waiting for you of course. The man who will receive all my letters and read every word with with as much love as they were written.
.
I’m waiting for the one who feels the depth of each sentiment as if they were engraved in his heart and not scribbled on paper.
.
I’m waiting for a man with so much faith that he won’t question the legitimacy of my love because he can feel the sincerity behind that which he can’t see.
.
I’m waiting for someone whom values happiness over riches, understanding the joy we create makes us abundantly wealthy.
.
I’m waiting for the man that I’ve spent my life preparing for so that we can design the life we deserve to live, together.
.
I’m waiting for the like mind, with a familiar soul, committed to loving me completely, intently, candidly and kerrfully (😏 see what I did there?)
.
I’m waiting for the man who takes pride in putting a smile on my face and the sound of my laughter will become his favourite, second only to that of our children.
.
I’m waiting for someone who will be my afternoon fantasy, late night comfort and morning motivation so that our days will be a balancing act of mutual fulfilment.
.
I’m waiting for forever, promised by a universe that bears witness to the dreams of love from a patient soul.
.
I’m waiting for you. 💙✨
