🎙️ Last Friday, Radio Cayman’s headquarters was officially rededicated and renamed the Loxley Banks Broadcasting Centre. Government officials and community members gathered to witness this historic milestone, which also marks the station’s 50th anniversary of service.

This prestigious honour recognises former Director of Broadcasting Mr. Loxley Banks, MBE, Cert. Hon., whose 60-year legacy of leadership and cultural preservation deeply shaped the station. Premier Hon. André Ebanks and other dignitaries joined past and present staff to express profound gratitude to a true Caymanian pioneer.

Congratulations to Mr. Banks on this well-deserved recognition and to Radio Cayman on 50 years of dedicated service to the Cayman Islands.
