The poppy has become a timeless symbol of remembrance, resilience, and sacrifice — a tribute to those who served and continue to serve with courage and pride. 🌺

Each year, the Poppy Appeal reminds us of the importance of honouring our veterans and supporting them in meaningful ways right here in Cayman. 🇰🇾

Read on to learn more about the history of the poppy, why we wear it, and how you can take part. Then, join the parade and the celebration this Remembrance Sunday as we come together to honour their legacy.

📍Sunday, 9 November 2025

🕘 Both services begin at 10:45 AM
Grand Cayman: The Cenotaph, outside Elmslie Memorial United Church, Seafarers Way
Cayman Brac: The Cenotaph, District Administration Lawn

🎥 Watch the Grand Cayman ceremony live on CIG’s YouTube or Facebook and take a moment to remember those who served.
