The Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing, and Infrastructure (PAHI) proudly unveils the National Road Safety Strategy (NRSS) 2023-2038. A comprehensive plan to eliminate road fatalities and serious injuries. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the strategy envisions "Safe Roads, Safe Cayman: The Road to Zero.”
 
The strategy introduces innovative initiatives to transform the Cayman Islands' road safety culture, infrastructure, and enforcement, including  driver education, improved pedestrian and cyclist safety, upgraded road infrastructure, and technology for better enforcement. The strategy emphasises the crucial role of community engagement and education and seeks active public participation to instil a road safety culture.
 
The NRSS launch is just the beginning. The Ministry and its partners will be planning public engagements, workshops, and educational programmes to bring the strategy to the heart of the community.
