Brunch game strong 💪! I finally got to check out uptownyolk and can confirm that Chef Greg is serving up some heat over in 7thpublicmarket. As a shrimp and grits connoisseur 😎, I have to try it whenever I see it and this one is killer with smoked gouda grits and jerk shrimp!
.
Pro-tip: get the sweet potato waffle with the pecan butter as well! Thank me later.
.
🍤 Shrimp & Grits – w/ smoked gouda, jerk shrimp, scallion pesto
🥔 Sweet Potato Waffle – w/ pecan butter & maple whipped cream
🍳 Mojo Hash – coffee braised steak, diced sweet potatoes, roasted mushrooms, w/ over easy egg*, scallion pesto
.
Also, be sure to check out DailySpecialCLT.com to find out all the latest specials around Charlotte!
