Well, it either came out or was a nail as he was completely fine after the farrier checked on him this morning. But, Swatch got two days in a hoof pack!

Do you have a favorite mixture? This packing includes epsom salt, DMSO, and betadine. I wrap with a diaper, vet wrap, and duct tape. I also like the self made hoof packing but if you’re on a budget I find my concoction works just fine. Just wear gloves and guidance of a professional if using DMSO.
