It’s a sweet treat that has some serious benefits for the horse’s gastric system! . Papaya is rich in natural digestive enzymes like papain, amylase, and protease, which help break down proteins and improve digestion — essential for equine gut health . It also supports a healthy stomach lining and can boost nutrient absorption, promote regular GI function, and reduce inflammation — especially helpful for horses prone to ulcers or digestive stress. . And yes — a tiny bite of this tropical goodness goes to Huckle too 🐶 — papaya is safe for dogs in small amounts, providing fiber, vitamins like A and C, and digestive support when served without skin or seeds. . 📌 Always introduce new foods slowly and check with your vet if you’re unsure! . v/c Mr McLeod . #horsesofinstagram #equinenutrition #papaya #guthealth #dogsofinstagram #healthyhorse #trainingtip #equestrian #eventing #horsegirlenergy #horsegirl #equestrianlife #eventingnation #horses #equestrianstyle #eventinglife #eventinghorse #eventinglive #eventingrider #eventingireland #eventingtraining #eventingaustralia #horsepicture #horseshowlife #horseshows #horseshowdays dq #tackupwithme #btsbehindthescene ## Stats - **Views:** 0 - **Likes:** 110 - **Shares:** 0 - **Comments:** 2 ## Tags horseshows, eventinglife, eventingaustralia, horsegirl, eventinglive, equinenutrition, tackupwithme, eventinghorse, btsbehindthescene, equestrian, horseshowlife, trainingtip, horseshowdays, eventingnation, eventingireland, horsegirlenergy, eventing, horsepicture, equestrianlife, eventingtraining, dogsofinstagram, guthealth, horsesofinstagram, equestrianstyle, eventingrider, papaya, horses, healthyhorse --- Copyright (c) Gondola
