👩‍⚕️ vitalizeeq review (swipe for Swatch!)
.
I have worked with vitalizeeq for a few seasons now, and by far my favorite product is their Digest-More Plus.
.
.
I’ve been told for ages that the horse’s health starts with the gut. But I didn’t always understand what that meant. Giving Omega 3s, or hoof & joint supplements, that seemed pretty straight forward. But, I had to send in lots of questions to the nutritional experts I work with on this topic. But now, it seems so obvious. The body has to digest (break down) and absorb what put in it for any of your supplements or feed to take effect. If not, it passes right through them. That’s why you can have a horse who’s getting tons of calories but still remains thin. The nutrients aren’t being absorbed. This occurs from a variety of reasons : ulcers, feeding large quantities of grain at a time, anything that can disrupt the micro-biome (the environment the gut bacteria lives) , +.
.
vitalizeeq developed the Digest More Plus which is a pelleted top dressing. It is designed to support the hind gut (where fermentation takes place) and digestion. It contains MOS (mannan oligosaccharide) which stimulates the growth of the good bacteria in the gut.
.
I’ve really enjoyed reading the blogs on the Vitalize website, and I love the amount of research the team has done. It helps me, someone who wants to do best by my horse but doesn’t have a degree in nutrition feel confident that I’m making the right decisions by their health.
