It’s delivery day!
.
Swatch’s new SmartPaks arrived, and I was really excited to open because I switched around a few supplements. This spring he’s struggled with his skin. Every time it rains whether he’s in or out, he’s covered in hives for the next three days. (And it’s rained a lot 🥹)
.
So, I added in the Smart Itch. With ingredients like Spirulina, MSM, omega 3s,+ I’m going to trust the research and see how this fairs. This should target the immune response and maintain skin and coat health. (There’s even Garlic and ACV to deter insects!) This would be a great addition for the horse with itchy skin or bug sensitivities.
.
Then, I added in SmartLytes. I always keep Swatch on an electrolyte, and switching him to the SmartPak supplement it saves me time in ordering and I know he won’t run out! At $18.00/month for USEF members it was a no-brainer.
.
I’ll keep everyone updated how Swatch does on these new supplements. He was eager to eat dinner tonight, so taste wise he’s in! 🐎
.
.
I’m an ingredient girly. I love googling case studies and research to prove or disprove new supplements I want to try with my horses. I’m excited about the SmartItch. Some of the other ingredients in the supplement include: Tumeric, Yucca, Astragalus (Chinese herb), and Siberian Ginseng.
