What’s running through your mind before cross-country? Forever, I’ve tried to work on mental exercises to soothe nerves and prevent the flood of adrenaline that might interfere with my ability to focus out on course.
.
This spring those nerves seem to be shifting to excitement, like something big is about to happen. I just want to get out on course with him. I think it’s just the extra months I feel like I put in to get Swatch and I in a better rhythm so our confidence is on a high note right now.
.
As I get ready, I’m wearing the horsepilot Suntech top in Black and (new 2024) X-Balance breeches in beige. These tops are so comfortable with ventilation on the sleeves so cool enough to wear in summer. I wear the ridesafe Motion 3 vest. It has the latest Beta level 3 protection from hgf_equestrian who also provided my custom penny. I slide on my pointtwousa air vest and penny, before a hairnet and my helmet.
