What’s it take to be a “Sponsored Rider?”
.
I’ve been creating content for many years and representing brands for product exchange since I was a junior rider.
.
While I now have a few extra Instagram followers, it’s really important to understand the service you can provide your brands. Mine? I provide relate-able reviews and growing exposure through social media views for their products.
.
Then I sell the service to my brands. That may look like product exchange, monetary compensation, shares onto their page. The better service you can sell, the higher price you can sell it for.
.
After my “service” is sold to my brands, I really work to insure they enjoyed their “purchase.” I follow up, I regularly check in or pick up the phone and schedule brand calls. I want to know how I can parallel their marketing strategies. Are they offering a sale in the next weeks I can create content for? I send my ideas for new content. It’s a lot of communication.
.
At the end of the day I want to have been so aligned with the equestrian brands I work with every follower knows my bridles are lumiere_equestrian , my breeches are horsepilot , my horse glows from horse_guard , his gut is A+ from vitalizeeq , and every boot, saddle pad, grooming supply comes from shires_usa .
