Native to the Indian subcontinent, the gray langur or hanuman langur (Semnopithecus) is born with almost black fur, but its colour changes to brown, grey or tan as an adult. These furry creatures are quadrupedal, meaning they use all four limbs to navigate a wide range of habitats. Whilst some hanumans live in troops that can reach up to 100 in size, they typically live in groups of 20-30 individuals. ⁣
