## Caption

It was great being back in Altadena this week. People are getting back on their feet with help from places like the one-stop permit shop for rebuilding and the library that remained standing after the fires. Residents like Paola of Amara’s Cafe are getting funds to recover through relief grants and my friend Margot, who I met back in February, was the first homeowner to have her debris removal completed by the Army Corps of Engineers — something they are doing for everyone in record time. The survivors of both the Eaton and Palisades fires embody the best of the California spirit — and we won’t leave anyone behind. #eatonfire #palisades
