As I prepared for my own journey to Howard, I couldn’t ignore a question that stayed with me: How many young Black scholars have the talent, the work ethic, and the ambition to succeed, but never receive the opportunity they deserve? I realized that while I couldn’t solve every problem, I could become part of someone’s solution.

That question became The Juventas Foundation.

This was never about creating a scholarship. It was about creating possibility. It’s about telling young Black men that someone believes in them before they’ve taken their first college class. It’s about investing in potential, easing financial burdens, and building a community where excellence is expected and support is guaranteed.

These photos capture a launch. What they don’t capture are the months of planning, the setbacks, the uncertainty, and the people who reminded me to keep going when this still felt like a pipe dream.

To my family, friends, mentors, and everyone who encouraged me along the way, thank you. Your belief carried this vision long before the world ever saw it.

This is only the beginning.
