my curiosity led me to accidentally uncover a “lost” piece of pop culture/music history hiding in plain sight 😳 what i assumed was an abandoned building was once home to liberty records and later became rusk sound studios, where artists like donna summer, giorgio moroder, elton john, britney spears, joan jett and one direction recorded pieces of music and pop culture history. it has even described as “the birthplace of alvin and the chipmunks.” it just goes to show that there is truly a piece of history on almost every corner in los angeles. look around and let your curiosity lead you! you never know what you may find 👀 did you know any of this, or does anyone have stories about rusk sound studios or liberty records? #losthistory #musichistory #donnasummer #popculture #losangeles
